  • Malty, hoppy nose with bread, hay and spicy hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, citrus, peaches and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

  • Hazy golden colour with lasting, white head.

NOT TO TAME
Our brewers started using wild strains for the refermentation in the bottle. Wild Jo cannot be tamed, on the contrary. The wild Brett yeast gives it its atypical, intriguing character. The beer evolves in the bottle and gets wilder with time. That keeps it really exciting.

JOSEPH 'JO' VAN DEN BOGAERT
The name Wild Jo fits perfectly with the temperament of this beer. Wild comes naturally from the wild yeasts. And what about you? That's a tribute to Joseph van den Bogaert: a strong gentleman with a sense of adventure. After WWI, he made it possible to restart the brewery. So a real daredevil.
