This Gulden Draak Cuvée Prestige has matured for no less than 17 weeks on authentic port barrels, originating from the famous Douro Valley in Portugal. The maturation on these barrels brings the intense layers of flavors and aromas of the port into harmony with the rich, dark notes of Gulden Draak. Porto is known for its deep red, robust flavors of ripe red fruit, dried figs, honey and subtle oak tones. During the maturation, the Gulden Draak absorbs these aromas, resulting in a deep, layered flavor with a velvety finish.
