It smells sweet, caramel, grainy, barrel-vanilla, grape-musty. Caramel, grainy, yeasty flavors, with grape, vanilla, barrel aromas, maybe a hint of plum. Sweet, full-bodied, moderately carbonated, slightly bitter, which comes more from oak than hops. A very tasty, large-format beer.
