Nose of coffee, roasted malts, caramel, some dark fruit. Rather fruity, a bit roasty, some vanilla in the finish. It is a massive, 12% dark beer in the quadrupel style brewed with a strongly fermenting Belgian yeast. To further enhance the beer’s flavor and aroma, we lagered the beer on oak woodchips from Bourbon barrels.
