Smell: sweet, molasses, caramel, alcoholic, slightly spicy. Taste: sweet, alcoholic, candy, caramel, slightly tannic bitters. All this nicely intertwined. Moderate to medium carbonation. Finish: somewhat sticky, some dried fruit, alcohol warming.
Imperial stout aged on Weller bourbon barrels (Buffalo Trace Distillery). Refermented in the bottle with maple syrup.
