History

Brewery Maenhout is an artisan brewery, located in Pittem.

In late 2009, Thijs Maenhout and Birgit The Rammelaere started the brewery in the former premises of the factory broth Gerdox between Meulebeke and Tielt. We started with a 2nd hand brewing plant having a capacity of 5 hl. Bottling and labeling was done entirely by hand, bottle by bottle.

In 2014 we put the step to expand and automate. The property in Meulebeke did not have sufficient capacity, which is why we have put the step to move. The new building is located in Pittem, along Brugsesteenweg.
