The influence of the PX sherry cask is noticeable through a sweet, wine-like undertone. Taste: A rich and layered taste experience reminiscent of a liquid dessert. Sherry sweetness: The Pedro Ximénez casks add a luscious sweetness of cocoa and espresso. Silky texture: Thanks to the addition of oatmeal, the beer has a remarkably creamy and velvety mouthfeel. Complexity: Layers of caramel and dark fruit are balanced by the roasted bitterness of the malt. Finish: The finish is long, warming, and satisfyingly rich.
