Aroma: Intense, floral, and complex. You immediately smell the rich scent of wild flower honey combined with fruity yeast esters (such as pear and apricot). Additionally, subtle, spicy notes of clove, white pepper, and a hint of cognac stand out. Taste: Full-bodied and harmonious. The beer has a soft, velvety sweetness from the honey and malt. This sweetness is beautifully balanced by a firm, characterful hop bitterness. Despite the honey, the finish is surprisingly dry, warm, and slightly peppery.
