  • Smell: Spicy (including cloves, cardamom and ginger), yeast and some caramel. Taste: Malt sweet with a slight hop bitterness. Esters and lots of spiciness. Medium body and strong carbonation.

    The beer is brewed with 3 different malts, is also hopped 4 times with 3 different hops, and as already mentioned, 2 specific spices.

  • Top fermentation, refermented in the bottle, Unfiltred, unpasteurised.
  • Color:
  • Strongly blurred golden blond orange with a white head.
  • Ideal temperature:
  • 6°C to 8°C => 43°F to 46°F

The seeds for Brouwfirma Better Beer Brewers were planted in 2014 when two friends from Emelgem went on a beer course. Jurgen & Chris were so bitten by the brewing microbe that they came up with plans to market their own beer.
TASTE BREWING
The test brew was brewed at the Maenhout brewery in 2016, under the expert supervision of Thijs Maenhout. After a successful and appreciated tasting among friends and strangers, it was decided to refine the recipe and to continue brewing. Both beer brothers did, however, stick to the original idea: an honest beer, with quality products that you do not directly link to an existing beer.
