  • Nose has green apple. Cut wood. New leather. Touch of peach stone. Taste has a fruity sweetness, turning dry, bitter and mineraly. Medium body with brisk fine carbonation. Pretty acidic. Dry and bitter finish.

Oude Geuze Apogee was bottled on April 29, 2019 and is a blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambic. Mainly 2-year-old lambic was used from Boon's newest foeder (N°83), along with 3-year-old lambic from their oldest foeder (N°79). In total, about 22,500 750mL bottles were filled. Each bottle is numbered with the unique bottle number on the back of each bottle.
