  • Nose is bitter sweet malts, fruit cake, dates, dried fruits, sugars. Taste comprises fruit cake, stewed dates, toffee, dried fruit, liquorice, booze, light smoke. Full bodied, fine carbonation, a touch chewy with balanced warming alcohol gracing the close.

    A full-bodied quadrupel rich in roasting flavors. The combination of early and late hopping provides a firm hop bite that is nicely balanced by a slight pleasant sweetness.

Erwin Vanmol is a Flemish cartoonist who works for the national and international press. He has already worked for clients including Doorbraak, Knack, P-Magazine, Le Vif, De Standaard, Het Laatste Nieuws, Arbo Podium (NL), Internet Hotspots (NL) and also for companies such as ING, Nestlé, Swissport and Microsoft.

For a long time, his passion for beer was limited to tasting quality beers, creating beer recipes himself, designing labels for Belgian and foreign brewers. In the spring of 2016, this changed with the establishment of microbrewery Vrijstaat Vanmol.
